First seen Mar 22, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a supervised exercise program before surgery can improve fitness and recovery in people with locally advanced non-small cell lung cancer. 74 patients will be randomly assigned to either an exercise group (three sessions per week of endurance and strength training) or usual care. The main goal is to measure changes in peak oxygen uptake, a key indicator of surgical fitness.
