Summary

This study looks at whether exercise, like walking and telehealth coaching, along with smoking cessation advice, can improve lung function in smokers who have early signs of lung trouble but not yet COPD. Researchers will track 90 participants for 12 months to see if their walking distance changes. The goal is to learn if exercise can help prevent COPD from developing.
