First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study tested whether combining exercise with a gentle brain stimulation technique called transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) can improve memory in 60 adults aged 50 and older with mild cognitive impairment or Alzheimer's disease. Participants exercised while receiving tDCS to key brain areas. The goal was to see if this combo could reduce memory errors and improve recall.
