First seen May 21, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looks at how different types of exercise—cycling or strength training—affect brain blood flow and physical frailty in older adults with mild cognitive impairment (MCI), an early stage of memory loss. Thirty-six participants aged 60-85 will exercise for 12 weeks and be tested on memory, balance, and walking. The goal is to understand which exercise best helps delay dementia.
