Can Home-Based exercise keep new hearts healthy?
NCT ID NCT05824364
Summary
This study is testing whether a home-based exercise program using remote monitoring (telerehabilitation) is safe and works as well as standard hospital-based rehab for people who recently received a heart transplant. Researchers will compare two groups of 40 patients to see which exercise approach better prevents serious complications like rejection, hospitalization, or death. They will also measure fitness levels and look for blood markers that might predict how well patients recover.
