Could exercise be better than bed rest after a C-Section?
NCT ID NCT04345757
Summary
This study tested whether standard activity restrictions after a cesarean section are necessary or if exercise can improve recovery and wellness. Researchers randomly assigned 200 women who had scheduled C-sections to either follow the usual 6-week restrictions or to follow a structured 10-week exercise program. The goal was to see if the exercise group had better physical and mental health outcomes without increasing complications.
