First seen Mar 16, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study follows 50 adults with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation (AF) who are scheduled for catheter ablation. Researchers use exercise cardiac MRI before and 5-6 months after the procedure to measure how well the heart's left atrium works during exercise. The goal is to understand changes in heart function and exercise capacity, not to test a new treatment.
