First seen Feb 05, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding evolocumab, a drug typically used for high cholesterol, to standard treatment can quickly lower very high blood fats in people with pancreatitis. About 40 adults with this condition will receive either standard care alone or standard care plus evolocumab. The goal is to see if the combination helps reduce fat levels faster and prevents complications.
