Summary

This study tested a patch called EVARREST that helps stop mild to moderate bleeding during open surgery in children. The patch is placed on the bleeding area and works by forming a clot. The study included 35 children aged 1 month to 18 years undergoing abdominal, pelvic, or chest surgery. Results showed the patch stopped bleeding quickly and safely.
