Can a simple ultrasound test tell benign from dangerous masses?

NCT ID NCT07419191

First seen Mar 18, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study will check if a special ultrasound technique called elastography can help doctors tell whether growths in the chest or digestive tract are harmless or cancerous. About 35 adults will get an endoscopic ultrasound with elastography, and the results will be compared to tissue samples. The goal is to improve diagnosis without needing more invasive tests.
