Can a simple ultrasound test tell benign from malignant growths?
NCT ID NCT07419191
First seen Mar 18, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study will test if a special ultrasound technique called elastography can help doctors tell the difference between harmless and cancerous growths in the chest and digestive tract. About 35 adults will get an endoscopic ultrasound with elastography, and the results will be checked against tissue samples. The goal is to see if this method can improve diagnosis and reduce the need for more invasive tests.
