Major trial aims to cure kids with less radiation
NCT ID NCT02684708
First seen Apr 21, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study looked at nearly 3,000 children and teens with Hodgkin lymphoma to see if doctors could safely reduce the use of radiation therapy without lowering cure rates. Some participants also received stronger chemotherapy to make up for the reduced radiation. The goal was to keep the high chance of cure while minimizing long-term side effects.
