Summary

This study is testing a daily pill called etrasimod to see if it can help control ulcerative colitis in children aged 2 to 12. Researchers will check if the medicine reduces bowel inflammation and symptoms over a year of treatment, and monitor its safety. Participants who complete the main study can choose to continue taking the medicine in a long-term follow-up study for up to four more years.
