Special ethics course boosts new Nurses' skills and compassion
NCT ID NCT07193238
Summary
This study tested whether adding a special ethics and moral reasoning course to standard training would help new nurses. Researchers compared 120 new nurses who received either the standard training alone or the standard training plus the new ethics course. They found the nurses who took the extra course scored better on measures of professional purpose, caregiving skills, and knowledge.
