Summary
This study tested whether adding a special ethics and morals course to standard training would help new graduate nurses. Researchers compared 120 new nurses; one group got the standard training, and the other got the standard training plus the new ethics course. After training, the group that took the ethics course scored better on measures of professional purpose, caregiving skills, and job knowledge.
