First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study tested a new treatment called ET140203 T cells for people with advanced liver cancer that had not responded to other therapies. The treatment involved taking a patient's own immune cells, modifying them to target cancer, and giving them back. The study was stopped early after enrolling only 8 participants, so the full safety and effectiveness are not known.
