Summary

This study follows 3500 people who had surgery for esophageal cancer to compare recovery and quality of life between minimally invasive and open surgery. Participants fill out questionnaires about their physical and mental well-being for up to 3 years after surgery. The goal is to learn which approach leads to better long-term outcomes.
