NCT ID NCT03110926
Summary
This study is testing whether adding a specific chemotherapy regimen (mFOLFOX6) before the usual treatment plan can help prevent esophageal cancer from spreading to other parts of the body. It involves 40 adults with locally advanced esophageal cancer who can still have surgery. The goal is to see if this extra step improves survival and keeps the cancer from returning.
