NCT ID NCT06853041
First seen May 11, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study tested two similar pain medicines, esketamine and ketamine, in 74 adults with severe pain in the emergency room. The goal was to see which one causes fewer disturbing side effects like dizziness or hallucinations while still relieving pain quickly. Both drugs are given as a low-dose injection and may offer a safer option than morphine.
