NCT ID NCT07120477
First seen Apr 03, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study compares two promising strategies to prevent suicide: a single infusion of esketamine (a fast-acting medication) and a one-session Crisis Response Planning session where a clinician helps create a personal safety plan. Both are added to standard care. Researchers will follow 468 teens and adults in Brazil for one year to see which approach best reduces suicide attempts, hospitalizations, and deaths.
