NCT ID NCT07453628
First seen Mar 21, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study explored whether erectile dysfunction is linked to nerve pain, disease activity, and daily function in men with axial spondyloarthritis (a type of inflammatory arthritis affecting the spine). Researchers compared 90 men: those on anti-TNF drugs, those on NSAIDs, and healthy volunteers. Participants completed questionnaires about sexual function, pain, and quality of life. The goal was to better understand these connections, not to test a new treatment.
