Summary
This study looked at whether a special brain monitor (4-channel EEG) can help doctors give just the right amount of sedation during a procedure called ERCP. The goal was to keep patients safely asleep, avoid side effects, and help them wake up faster. 84 adults having elective ERCP took part, and researchers compared standard care with EEG-guided sedation.
