No drains, better recovery? new study tests simpler stomach cancer surgery

Summary
This study tests whether removing drainage tubes after laparoscopic stomach cancer surgery helps patients recover faster without increasing complications. About 454 adults with early to advanced stomach cancer will be randomly assigned to receive or skip the tubes. The goal is to see if a simpler recovery plan is safe and effective.
