New recovery plan aims to get stomach cancer patients home faster

Summary
This study looks at whether a set of enhanced recovery steps (called ERAS) can help people who have minimally invasive stomach cancer surgery meet discharge criteria sooner. About 308 adults will be randomly assigned to either standard care or the ERAS protocol. The goal is to see if more patients in the ERAS group can safely leave the hospital earlier.
