Summary
This study tests how well different emergency room cooling methods work to bring down dangerously high body temperature (hyperthermia). Fifty healthy adults will have their body temperature raised through exercise and then be cooled using ice packs, ice sheets with a fan, or an ice-filled body bag. The goal is to find which method lowers core temperature the fastest.
