First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study is testing a robotic system called Epione that helps doctors place needles or instruments into the bones of the pelvis and spine. The goal is to see if the robot makes these procedures more accurate and safer compared to doing them by hand. About 60 adults with bone tumors, osteoporosis, or fractures will take part. The robot is used only to guide the initial placement, and extra CT scans are taken to check accuracy.
