Summary

This study directly compared two common seizure medications, brivaracetam and levetiracetam, in children just starting treatment for epilepsy. It involved 102 children aged 1 month to 14 years. The goal was to see which drug was safer and more effective at stopping seizures completely when used as the first and only treatment.
