First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study looked at 26 adults with metabolic syndrome to see if a 12-month lifestyle program could lower body fat and change certain gene markers. Participants tracked their diet and activity using a mobile app, and had blood tests and body scans at the start and end. The goal was to understand how lifestyle affects these biological signals, not to test a new treatment.
