NCT ID NCT07349082
First seen Jan 16, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study compares two anesthesia methods for planned C-sections: standard epidural and a newer technique called dural puncture epidural (DPE). The goal is to see which one provides faster pain relief and keeps the mother's blood pressure more stable. 72 women having a C-section will be randomly assigned to one of the two methods, and their pain levels and side effects will be closely monitored during surgery.
