First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study tests a combination of spinal cord stimulation, a wearable robot suit, and resistance training to help people with complete spinal cord injury walk on their own. Twenty adults with paralysis from the chest down will train for months to see if they can improve walking speed, muscle strength, and overall health. The goal is to make this technology easier to use and available to more people.
