Can an epidural ease birth fears and boost Mom-Baby bonding?
NCT ID NCT07112495
Summary
This study looked at whether using epidural pain relief during a first vaginal birth could help reduce women's fear of childbirth, which is a major reason many choose cesarean sections. Researchers followed 80 first-time mothers to see if the epidural improved their confidence in breastfeeding and their emotional connection with their baby in the first six months. The goal was to see if better pain management and information could make vaginal birth a more positive and preferred experience.
