Shorter UV light may halt corneal disease just as well as longer exposure

Summary
This study tests a non-FDA-approved treatment called corneal crosslinking (CXL) for people with keratoconus and similar conditions that cause the cornea to thin and bulge, blurring vision. Participants receive vitamin B2 eye drops followed by either 18 or 24 minutes of UVA light to strengthen the cornea and stop disease progression. The goal is to see if the shorter exposure works as well as the longer one in preventing vision loss over 6 months.
