First seen Jan 31, 2026 · Last updated Jun 22, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding ephedrine to norepinephrine can better prevent low blood pressure in women having planned C-sections under spinal anesthesia. 260 healthy pregnant women will receive either the drug combo or norepinephrine alone. The goal is to see if the combo reduces drops in blood pressure and keeps heart rate stable.
