Enzyme pill aims to ease painful wisdom tooth recovery

NCT ID NCT07269171

Summary

This study is testing if a dietary supplement containing three enzymes (trypsin, chymotrypsin, and serratia peptidase) can help people recover faster after having a wisdom tooth surgically removed. Researchers will compare two small groups of healthy adults to see if the supplement reduces common problems like swelling, pain, and difficulty opening the mouth. All participants will receive standard post-surgery care, and one group will also take the enzyme supplement.
