Enzyme pill aims to ease painful wisdom tooth recovery

NCT ID NCT07269171

Summary

This study is testing whether a dietary supplement containing three enzymes (trypsin, chymotrypsin, and serratia peptidase) can help people recover faster after having a wisdom tooth surgically removed. The goal is to see if the supplement reduces common post-surgery problems like swelling, pain, and difficulty opening the mouth. Researchers will compare a group taking the supplement along with standard painkillers and antibiotics to a group taking only the standard medications.
