Enzyme pill aims to ease painful wisdom tooth recovery
NCT ID NCT07269171
Summary
This study is testing whether a dietary supplement containing three enzymes (trypsin, chymotrypsin, and serratia peptidase) can help people recover faster after having a wisdom tooth surgically removed. Researchers will compare two small groups of healthy adults: one gets standard post-surgery medications, and the other gets those medications plus the enzyme supplement. The main goal is to see if the supplement reduces common problems like swelling, pain, and difficulty opening the mouth in the week following surgery.
