New pill targets genetic flaw in Hard-to-Treat cancers

NCT ID NCT05199584

Summary

This study tested an experimental oral drug called ENV-101 in adults with advanced solid tumors that have stopped responding to standard treatments. The goal was to see if the drug is safe and can shrink or control tumors in patients whose cancer has a specific genetic mutation called PTCH1. The drug works by blocking a specific cellular pathway that the cancer uses to grow.
