Summary
This study tested a program called Family Check-Up Heart for new moms and their babies. The goal was to help moms improve their heart health after pregnancy by managing weight and other risks. About 117 moms who were eligible for Medicaid took part. The program added heart-health coaching to regular home visits to see if it helped more than standard support.
