NCT ID NCT07213713

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study looks at whether injecting the blood thinner enoxaparin into the arm or the belly works better for preventing dangerous blood clots in people with severe obesity (BMI over 40). About 80 adults will take part, and researchers will measure drug levels in the blood to see which injection site provides the right amount of protection. The goal is to improve clot prevention in this high-risk group.
