New implant aims to hit prostate cancer where it lives

Summary
This early-stage study tests a small implant called Enolen that releases the drug enzalutamide directly into the prostate. The goal is to see if it is safe and can deliver high drug levels to the tumor while reducing side effects. About 56 men with prostate cancer who are already scheduled for prostate removal surgery will receive the implant before their operation.
