First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding a memory-enhancing technique to standard PTSD therapy (cognitive processing therapy) helps older veterans learn and remember therapy content better. About 30 veterans over age 59 with PTSD will participate. The goal is to see if this approach is feasible and reduces PTSD symptoms more than therapy alone.
