Summary
This study looks at how social factors like poverty and access to care affect the risk of maternal sepsis—a leading cause of death in new mothers. Researchers will interview 200 patients and community stakeholders in New York hospitals to gather their experiences and ideas. The goal is to design a better care model that reduces sepsis-related harm and improves health equity.
