New hope for advanced lung cancer: combining targeted therapy and immunotherapy shows promise

Summary

This study tests whether adding local treatments (like surgery or radiation) to the immunotherapy drug durvalumab can help control stage III lung cancer that has started to grow again after standard treatment. About 51 adults whose cancer has progressed after chemoradiation and durvalumab will receive this combination. The goal is to see if it can slow down the disease and improve survival.
