NCT ID NCT05951023
First seen Dec 26, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study tested a new approach for people with obstructive sleep apnea who struggle to use their CPAP machine. Many patients stop using CPAP because they wake up easily. Researchers gave a safe sleep medication to 42 adults to see if it would help them sleep more soundly and use CPAP longer through the night. The goal was to improve CPAP adherence and reduce health risks like sleepiness and high blood pressure.
