Tiny study looks at why CDG patients have stroke-like events
NCT ID NCT03250728
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 32 times
Summary
This study looked at how the lining of blood vessels (the endothelium) might be involved in stroke-like episodes in people with Congenital Disorders of Glycosylation (CDG). Researchers measured how leaky the blood vessel barrier was and checked certain proteins on the cell surface. Only 6 people with CDG took part, and the goal was to better understand the cause, not to test a treatment.
