First seen May 11, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study compared a newer, less invasive back surgery (endoscopic) to the standard open surgery for people with a condition called lumbar spinal stenosis, which causes leg pain and trouble walking. 36 adults who needed surgery were randomly assigned to one of the two procedures. The goal was to see which surgery provides better pain relief and faster recovery over six months.
