New tool aims to speed up recovery from severe pancreatitis

Summary
This study compares a new device called Endorotor to standard endoscopy for removing infected dead tissue from the pancreas in people with severe pancreatitis. About 64 adults who need this procedure will be randomly assigned to one of the two methods. The goal is to see if the new device clears the tissue faster and reduces complications.
