New hope for endometriosis sufferers: Head-to-Head drug trial launches

Summary
This study tests whether a new capsule (Indinol Forto) works as well as a standard tablet (Visanne) for reducing pelvic pain caused by endometriosis. About 290 women aged 18 to 45 who have been diagnosed with endometriosis through surgery will take one of the two medications for several months. The main goal is to see if the new capsule can control pain without being worse than the standard treatment.
