Summary
This study aimed to better understand why women with endometriosis experience chronic pelvic pain. Researchers examined 78 women to explore how hormones, immune system chemicals, stress, and genes might be involved in creating and maintaining pain. The goal was to gather detailed biological information to help identify new, more effective approaches to treatment in the future.
