New study aims to uncover how endometriosis changes over two years

NCT ID NCT07282990

First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study follows 100 women with deep endometriosis for two years to see if their lesions grow, shrink, or stay the same on ultrasound, and how their symptoms and quality of life change. Researchers want to find out if the disease always gets worse, if medical treatment affects lesion size, and whether regular ultrasounds are needed or if symptom checks alone are enough. Participants will have four check-ups over two years, including ultrasounds and pain surveys.
