Endometriosis baby battle: surgery vs IVF Head-to-Head
NCT ID NCT04610710
Summary
This study aimed to determine whether surgery or IVF fertility treatment works better for helping women with deep endometriosis become pregnant. Women with this painful condition who wanted to get pregnant were randomly assigned to either have surgery first or go straight to IVF treatment. The study measured pregnancy rates, live births, complications, and quality of life, but was terminated early with only 38 participants.
